Job summary

Macfarlane Group UK Ltd is seeking an HR Apprentice at Coventry Head Office to start a career in HR. You will join a friendly HR team, gain hands-on experience across HR, recruitment and people administration, while completing a Level 3 HR Apprenticeship with CIPD accreditation and full training.

Potential for a permanent role on successful completion. You will work 37.5 hours per week from our Coventry site, with a structured development plan and mentoring to build your HR career in a leading

Qualifications

• Interest in developing a career in HR or recruitment.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine team player with professional telephone manner.
• Good IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Willing to learn and handle confidential information discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment administration: advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and onboarding.
• Process starter and leaver documents with accurate record keeping.
• Maintain employee records and HR systems ensuring data accuracy.
• Assist payroll administration and preparation of employee data.
• Help with absence management administration and reporting.
• Maintain HR policies and company documentation.
• Support training and development administration and records.
• Assist with management reporting and HR projects.
• Provide general admin support across HR and Central Services.
