Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Our client, a highly regarded trade association, is seeking an experienced HR and Talent Manager to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. In this strategic role, you will lead people-focused initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and workplace culture. You’ll play a key part in shaping employee relations policies, driving Diversity & Inclusion strategies, and supporting career development and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies to support effective people management
  • Coach and advise managers on employee relations and people issues
  • Manage performance, conduct, grievances, and restructures, ensuring legal compliance
  • Lead Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, foster an inclusive culture, and track progress
  • Oversee wellbeing programs, provide resources, and promote employee engagement
  • Organise social activities to enhance team cohesion and morale
  • Drive career development, succession planning, and talent management strategies
  • Partner with managers to identify development needs and enhance performance
  • Monitor trends, risks, and key metrics to inform strategic interventions

Ideal Candidate:

  • Expertise in employee relations, UK employment law, and D&I strategy for small organisations
  • Strong background in career frameworks, performance management, and employee development
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively
  • Proactive, solution-driven approach with a strong customer service orientation
  • Comfortable using HR systems and technology to support key processes
