Job summary

Anabas (UK 2) Ltd is hiring an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team in Darlington. You will provide expert HR guidance across the full employee lifecycle and support managers with ER matters, performance, and policy compliance.

The role requires a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent), at least 3 years in a HR Generalist role, and a willingness to travel with UK overnight stays. Office-based position in Darlington with BS:7858 vetting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice to managers across the employee lifecycle.

Anabas is a dynamic National Facilities Management company. Our focus lies in supporting corporate office occupiers looking for a great workplace experience for their staff and customers.

Based at our Darlington office, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our HR team. This role requires a strong background in both generalist HR and employee relations, with the successful candidate providing expert advice and guidance across all levels of the organisation. You will play a key role in supporting the business to achieve its operational objectives while contributing to its wider strategic goals.

You will have:

• A CIPD L5 qualification or equivalent
• A minumum of3 years experience of working in a HR Generalist role.
• Confidence in your knowledge of ER and Employment Law with the ability to communicate policy at grassroots level.
• Excellent organisational and IT skills, with the ability to present confidently.
• The ability to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues, the wider Human Resources and Anabas team - A true team player!
• A desire to travel, with overnight stays (UK only).
• A Willingness to be vetted in line with BS:7858.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers throughout the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to end of employment.
• Support managers with low to medium level Employee Relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, change management and absence management processes.
• Monitor sickness absence across the business and provide reports and guidance to managers in line with company policy.
• Deliver HR training and coaching to management teams, both virtually and face-to-face, to support effective people management.
• Assist managers with performance management processes, including appraisals and review discussions.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and compliance requirements, including right-to-work checks and employment screening.
• Produce HR reports and metrics, maintain accurate employee records and provide general HR administrative support to ensure effective HR service delivery.
