Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a fast-paced manufacturing site in Turriff. You will provide day-to-day HR support, work with site leadership to drive people initiatives, and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and absence management.

You will apply UK employment law, manage ER cases, and maintain HR policies while supporting HR projects and the wider people plan. Travel to UK sites will be required, and a driving license is essential.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Previous experience of working in a HR role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and experience managing ER cases.
  • Self-motivated to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Ability to prioritise own workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the business
  • Full driving license (requirement for UK travel)
  • Desired: Human Resources Qualification and/or CIPD membership

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR support and employee queries.
  • Partner with site leadership to drive productivity, people initiatives, and HR KPI delivery.
  • Support and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and people processes, including absence management.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and legislation.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in line with best practice and legal requirements.
  • Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and management development programmes to support the wider people plan.
  • Promote company values and support the successful delivery of HR priorities across the site.
  • Identify and escalate HR risks where appropriate.
  • Travel across UK sites as required.
