Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services, a Gallagher company, is seeking an HR Advisor, People & Culture on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This home-based UK role partners with business leaders to deliver people-focused solutions and drive organisational success.

You will provide high-quality HR advice, support change initiatives including restructures and M&A, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with employment law while fostering a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in HR advisory roles, with expertise in employee relations and supporting M&A activity (including TUPE).
• CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in FCA-regulated or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable (not essential).
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and M&A activity.
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based HR advice to managers, enabling them to handle employee relations matters confidently and consistently.
• Manage a variety of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
• Analyse people data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve HR practices and policies.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR functions to deliver seamless HR services.
