Office Angels is seeking an HR Advisor for an immediate start on a 6-month fixed-term contract in Cullompton, Devon. The role involves recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, engagement and payroll support within a friendly, national organisation.

You will work with managers across the business to provide practical HR guidance, ensuring a compliant, people-focused workplace culture with an emphasis on timely deliverables and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• UK employment law knowledge and experience advising managers
• Experience providing practical HR guidance to managers
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice on policies, procedures, attendance, performance, conduct and employee relations matters
• Support disciplinary, grievance, absence management, probation, wellbeing and capability cases
• Manage recruitment campaigns, coordinate interviews and onboarding activities
• Prepare contracts, offer letters, HR documentation and communications
• Maintain accurate employee records and GDPR compliance
• Support monthly payroll administration, including starters, leavers and changes
• Monitor training and compliance records
• Assist with employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
• Produce HR reports and support audits
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and ways of working
