Due to the expansion of work at Pilgrims, we are seeking a HR Advisor for our Corsham site in Wiltshire, which employs professional, managerial, administrative, semi-skilled, and unskilled personnel. The HR Advisor will report to the site HR Business Partner and work as part of a team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role involves providing comprehensive and professional HR generalist support, including attendance management, employee relations (ER), investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, recruitment, and associated administration.
While predominantly overseeing attendance and ER case management on site, employee engagement and local community initiatives will form a key part of our organizational culture. Inclusion of these initiatives, along with other HR focus areas such as retention and health & wellbeing activities, will also be part of the role.
Our preferred candidate will be part or newly CIPD qualified or equivalent and have at least 2 years’ experience in a generalist role, ideally in a manufacturing or fast-paced organization. Excellent administrative and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels. A good working knowledge of employment law and flexibility to adapt working hours to cover varying shift patterns across our 5-day workweek are desired. Additionally, strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required. Experience with our attendance system is preferred, though training can be provided.
