Job summary

CES Power is seeking a proactive HR Advisor with payroll experience to join our team in Glasgow. You will support the employee lifecycle, maintain records, assist with recruitment, onboarding, and payroll input, and work closely with managers to deliver accurate, confidential HR services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Maintain and update employee records in compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Assist with recruitment activities: preparing job adverts, arranging interviews, and corresponding with candidates.
  • Help to prepare offer letters, contracts of employment, and onboarding documentation.
  • Support the induction process for new starters.
  • Assist with payroll input and processing, including inputting starter, leaver, and change information for submission to the external payroll provider, and checking payroll reports for accuracy.
  • Update HR systems and help to produce regular reports and statistics.
  • Support the coordination of staff training and maintain training records.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Respond to basic HR-related queries from employees in a professional and confidential manner.
