Job summary

CES Power is seeking a proactive HR professional with payroll experience to join our friendly team in Milngavie, Scotland. You will support the employee lifecycle, maintain records, assist with recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processing with our external provider, and help produce accurate reports.

Qualifications

• A degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related subject.
• Previous HR experience essential.
• Previous payroll experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the HR team.
• Maintain and update employee records and ensure data protection compliance.
• Assist with recruitment activities such as preparing job adverts, arranging interviews, and corresponding with candidates.
• Help to prepare offer letters, contracts of employment, and onboarding documentation.
• Support the induction process for new starters.
• Assist with payroll input and processing with external payroll provider, and checking payroll reports for accuracy.
• Update HR systems and produce regular reports and statistics.
• Support the coordination of staff training and maintain training records.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as required.
• Respond to basic HR-related queries from employees in a professional and confidential manner.
