Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor on a fixed-term contract based near Meriden, West Midlands. The role covers the full employee lifecycle and leads a major TUPE transfer project, with broad HR support across the business.

You will partner with managers and employees on a wide range of people matters, applying UK employment law and best practices. The position offers hybrid working and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Previous HR Advisor or generalist HR experience.
• Strong TUPE experience including consultation and transfer activities.

HR Advisor Fixed-Term Contract

Location: Meriden, West Midlands

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for an experienced HR Advisor to join their HR team on a fixed-term contract basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle while taking the lead on a significant TUPE transfer project.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting a major TUPE transfer, managing the process from planning and due diligence through to employee consultation, transfer, and post-transfer integration. Alongside this, you will provide comprehensive HR support across the wider business, partnering with managers and employees on a broad range of people matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate TUPE transfer activities, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition.
• Provide expert advice across employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
• Support organisational change, restructuring and redundancy programmes.
• Coach and support managers on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
• Manage family leave and flexible working cases.
• Maintain accurate HR records and reporting through HR systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
