Job summary

Precept Recruit is supporting a Nottingham-based education employer to recruit an HR Advisor on-site. The role covers employee relations, policy development, coaching managers, and engagement initiatives within a 300+ staff environment.

You will provide expert ER advice, own end-to-end casework, ensure legal compliance and support safeguarding policies. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is essential; UK employment law experience is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing end-to-end employee relations casework.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied employee relations caseload including long-term absence, disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters.
• Provide clear, consistent HR advice to managers in line with employment law.
• Coach line managers and support senior recruitment processes.
