Job summary

Savills Company in Scotland seeks an HR Advisor to deliver practical, legally informed advice to managers, surveyors and employees across a defined region. You will independently manage a varied employee relations caseload, coach managers, maintain case records and support TUPE and organisational change.

The role involves advising on investigations, supporting restructures, maintaining data protection and policy compliance, and travelling to properties in Scotland with occasional national travel.

Qualifications

• Sound and current knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS guidance and recognised HR practice.
• Practical experience of disciplinary, grievance, capability, performance, sickness absence and flexible working.
• Working knowledge of organisational change, redundancy and TUPE.
• 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced generalist HR environment.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience; continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach line managers, surveyors and employees on queries regarding policies and employee relations issues.
• Manage a high volume and varied employee relations caseload, assisting with interpretation and implementation of policies.
• Attend formal employee relations meetings and support fair, well-documented processes.
• Advise on investigations up to complex matters and attend meetings as HR support when required.
• Coordinate TUPE workstreams and support organisational change activity.
• Maintain up-to-date case records and ensure data protection compliance.
• Participate in recruitment processes and support manager guidance on job descriptions and person specifications.
• Travel to properties within Scotland and occasionally nationally for events and training.
