Job summary

The Celtic Football Club is seeking a professional HR Advisor to join the HR team at Celtic Park on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will provide practical HR guidance to managers on employee relations, absence, conduct, grievances, capability and performance, and coach leaders to handle matters fairly and consistently.

With UK employment legislation knowledge and a proactive, collaborative approach, you will support recruitment, onboarding, policies, wellbeing and engagement initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience as a generalist HR adviser with practical employee relations casework.
• Sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head of HR, provide HR advice on employee relations, absence, conduct, grievance, capability and performance.
• Coach and support managers to handle people matters fairly and consistently.
• Support development, review and application of HR policies, processes and initiatives.
• Contribute to recruitment, selection and onboarding activity, promoting inclusive candidate experience.
• Support colleague wellbeing and engagement activity.
• Maintain accurate HR records and improve HR systems and service delivery.
