A well-established organisation in South Wales is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a HR professional to take ownership of a varied generalist role, working closely with the HR Manager.

You’ll play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR operations, providing advice on people-related matters, and ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.
  • Support and advise on employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance processes.
  • Assist with recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and induction processes.
  • Provide guidance on learning and development initiatives and coordinate training activities.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support employee engagement, wellbeing, and organisational culture.
  • Support the HR Manager in implementing policies, driving best practice, and fostering continuous improvement.
About You
  • CIPD Level 3 is essential, with a willingness to study towards Level 5 (fully supported by the company) or CIPD Level 5 already achieved (or currently studying) would be highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a HR generalist role, ideally at Advisor level.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confident in handling employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for an ambitious HR professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing organisation.
