Job summary

Frazer Jones is recruiting an HR Advisor to join a leading, highly regulated organisation in the Taunton area. You will manage a broad employee relations caseload, provide expert HR guidance, and partner with managers to drive best practice across the workforce.

The role requires robust ER experience, knowledge of UK employment law, and strong communication. CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is advantageous, with occasional travel and a focus on development within a supportive HR

Qualifications

• Experience in a People Advisor or HR Advisor role.
• Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage complex casework independently.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Working closely with managers and employees across a large operational workforce, you’ll play a key role in supporting people initiatives, delivering expert HR advice, and managing a varied ER caseload. What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a broad range of employee relations cases from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Coaching and supporting managers on HR best practice and employment law.
• Leading investigations and ensuring fair, consistent and compliant outcomes.
• Supporting employee engagement, performance management and people initiatives.
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects and helping shape HR processes.

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience in a People Advisor or HR Advisor role.
• Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage complex casework independently.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) would be advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as occasional travel may be required.
