SFR Recruitment Solutions Ltd. are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their busy Melton Mowbray team. The role is office-based and offers up to £30,000 plus benefits.

You will handle Employee Relations cases, provide practical HR guidance, and work closely with managers across the business. The ideal candidate will have CIPD Level 3 (Level 5 desirable), strong knowledge of UK employment law, and a proven track record as an HR Advisor or Generalist.

SFR Recruitment Solutions are exclusively recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and growing organisation based in Melton Mowbray.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building strong working relationships, providing practical HR support and taking ownership of Employee Relations cases from start to finish.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will provide first-line HR guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice.

• Managing Employee Relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters
• Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees
• Conducting investigations and supporting formal HR meetings
• Drafting HR correspondence and associated documentationSupporting probation and performance management processes
• Managing family leave cases including maternity, paternity and adoption
• Overseeing sickness absence management and Occupational Health referrals
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and induction activities
• Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring GDPR compliance
• Producing HR reports and monitoring key HR metrics
• Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement activities

About You

We're looking for someone who can confidently operate as a generalist HR professional and manage complex Employee Relations matters independently.

• CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent HR experience)
• Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist
• Strong Employee Relations experience, including complex case management
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities
• Experience supporting managers on HR policies and procedures
• A professional, confident and approachable manner
• Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills

Highly Desirable

• Manufacturing, production or operational environment experience
• CIPD Level 5 or currently studying towards further qualifications
• Experience using HR systems
• Experience supporting HR projects and organisational change

Important Information

This role will suit candidates who have hands-on experience managing Employee Relations cases and are comfortable dealing with complex HR matters. Applicants without previous HR Advisor or equivalent HR experience are unlikely to be considered.
