Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: RAF Coningsby

Salary: £50,569

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting HR Managers and People Managers in planning and implementing the People Plan within a business or business unit
  • Having a good understanding of business and relationship management skills to influence, facilitate and implement change
  • Providing operational advice on a range of employment and performance issues and business changes based on business needs, working in collaboration with the appropriate CoE
  • Enabling People Manager capability uplift, facilitating/supporting/coaching Managers in execution of people initiatives where necessary
  • Investigating and resolving complex 3rd tier generalist type queries requiring business knowledge and face to face handling
  • Reviewing business related people data to identify potential implications within the business context and environment and initiating local actions to resolve these as appropriate
  • Managing, leading or contributing to HR projects, including management of LCM for small projects or providing resource and support for larger projects as required
  • Channelling information to and from the Employee Service Centre and giving guidance to the business on how and where to access appropriate support
Your skills and experiences

Essential:

  • Experience of operating successfully in a fast-paced manufacturing or project-based organisation
  • Experience of operating within a unionised business
  • Have a good understanding of employment legislation
  • Confident in working autonomously while delivering results

Desirable:

  • Manufacturing or Military background
  • CIPD qualified or working towards it

Working within the TyTAN HR team, this role provides broad HR support to the business, HRBPs and Line Managers, requiring strong expertise in operationalising, integrating and delivering HR processes, projects and change initiatives.

You'll draw on your extensive HR and business knowledge to investigate, analyse and challenge, offering clear recommendations and solutions that drive the effective deployment and integration of HR initiatives across the organisation.
