Job summary

Accountancy And Finance Personnel Limited is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the team in Leicester. You will provide HR guidance, support managers, and help ensure fair, compliant people practices across the business.

The role focuses on employee relations, policy application, and supporting recruitment while maintaining GDPR-compliant records. Office-based, with a salary up to £35,000 and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years HR experience.
• Studying for CIPD.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all parts of HR, acting as the first point of contact for all Managers and staff.
• Manage a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability and workplace conduct matters
• Support investigations, hearings and appeals, ensuring processes are fair, compliant and well managed.
• Advise and assist Managers in employee relations including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence/sickness cases in a timely and compliant manner.
• Support absence management processes, including compiling return-to-work documentation, identifying absence trigger levels and escalating where necessary
• Manage the HR inbox, ensuring professional responses, escalating any complex issues.
• Building trusted relationships with managers and leaders across the business, providing insight and support
• Ensure HR processes and policies are applied consistently across the company.
• Process new starters and leavers, ensuring all checklists are completed.
• Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR.
• Prepare all HR documentation including contracts and letters.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR
• Support when needed with the recruitment, from advertising to selection, covering that role when needed.

Our client is offering a salary up to £35,000 + 25 Days Holiday, additional unique benefits and free paring.
