Are you an HR professional looking to take the next step in your career, with greater responsibility, variety and opportunities to develop?
Macmillan Davies is working exclusively with a successful, growing organisation in the construction sector to recruit an HR Advisor into its established and supportive HR team.
This newly created role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in generalist HR who is ready to broaden their experience, particularly within employee relations.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, hands‑on, confident in their approach and genuinely keen to develop their HR career. You don't need to have done everything before, but you should have some practical HR experience and the willingness to take ownership and get involved.
Working as part of the wider HR team, you'll support managers and employees across different areas of the business. Responsibilities will include:
You may currently be working at HR Officer, Junior HR Advisor or HR Advisor level. What's important is that you've gained a good foundation in generalist HR and are ready to build on that experience.
Ideally, you'll have:
Construction experience is not essential. Experience in a busy, commercially focused or multi‑site environment would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates from other sectors with the right experience and attitude.
Based in Canary Wharf, the role offers one day working from home each week, with occasional travel to other UK locations.
If you're looking for an opportunity to broaden your HR experience, develop your employee relations skills and progress within a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
