Job description

As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering day‑to‑day HR support and guiding managers through people‑related matters. You will:

  • Provide first‑line HR advice to managers and employees across a range of topics including performance, absence, conduct, and wellbeing.
  • Support employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent and timely resolution.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, helping to attract and integrate new talent.
  • Manage HR processes and documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and great employee experience.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and tracking.
  • Maintain HR systems and data, producing reports and insights to support decision‑making.
  • Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, engagement initiatives, and process improvements.

Strong HR knowledge with experience advising on policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships. Sound judgement with the confidence to coach and challenge when needed. Organised and detail‑focused, able to manage multiple priorities. Proactive and solutions‑focused, with a positive approach to change. CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) is desirable.
