North Yorkshire Council is offering a HR Adviser role within the HR Advisory Team based at County Hall, Northallerton. The role provides advice on employment issues, manages caseloads across disciplinary, grievance, capability and probation, and supports managers with policy compliance.

You will deliver manager skills sessions, build relationships with managers, staff and stakeholders, and contribute to service delivery across directorates while working in a hybrid pattern with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR advisory or casework is desirable.
• Ability to advise on disciplinary, grievance and probation processes.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills across internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employment issues and company policies.
• Manage caseloads for HR processes including disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Deliver manager skills sessions to coach teams.
