Job summary

The Talent World is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR generalist advice and support across a busy organisation. The role includes managing employee relations casework and advising managers on conduct, performance, recruitment, grievances, disciplinary matters, sickness absence, and harassment.

It also supports People Plans and organisational change activities, including restructures and TUPE.

Job description

HR Advisor

Location: Chichester, with hybrid working and 1–2 days per week in the office

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR generalist advice and support to managers and employees across a busy organisation.

You will manage a range of employee relations casework, including conduct, performance management, recruitment, grievances, disciplinary matters, sickness absence, and bullying and harassment, ensuring advice is aligned with employment law, HR policies, and best practice. More complex cases will be escalated to senior HR colleagues or specialist teams where appropriate.

You will also support Senior HR Business Partners and HR Business Partners with the delivery of People Plans and organisational change activities, including restructures and TUPE, while promoting the effective application of HR policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have experience providing HR generalist advice to managers and employees, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build credible relationships while providing professional, commercially focused advice. You will also be confident researching and resolving HR issues and contributing to policy and procedure reviews.

A CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
