Job summary

Adult Education Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to support a busy college team with daily HR tasks, queries and record-keeping. The role is office-based at the City Learning Quarter campus in Wolverhampton and is a part-time position (22.2 hours over four days, including Monday and Tuesday).

You will maintain the SCR, assist with recruitment campaigns, monitor absences and payroll claims, and contribute to HR processes with a professional, patient approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience with HR practices and day-to-day HR tasks.
  • Ability to manage queries and maintain HR records.
  • Knowledge of DBS checks and safeguarding basics.

Responsibilities

HR Administrator

Salary: £16,364 - £17,443 per annum (Grade 4 - £27,274 - £29,071 Pro Rata)

Hours: 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE) over 4 days to include Monday and Tuesday

Contract Type: Part time, permanent

Workstyle: Fixed - City Learning Quarter

A great opportunity has arisen at Adult Education Wolverhampton for and HR Administrator. Supporting a busy college team, we are looking for someone who has excellent organisation skills and a genuine desire to help. As a diligent, patient and highly organised administrator with experience of HR practices, you will support a busy team with day to day operational HR tasks such as, dealing with queries, maintaining the Single Central Record, processing pay claims, monitoring and reporting absences, supporting managers with HR functions and recruitment campaigns. You should have an awareness of Ofsted, a good working knowledge of HR processes and be an effective communicator.

Adult Education Wolverhampton is a City Centre Adult Learning campus with a great team of around 100 staff service and 2000 students. This will be an exciting role for someone with the skills, knowledge and genuine desire to help others and make a difference.

This is a office based post and will be situated at our Adult Education College campus in Wolverhampton City Centre.
