We have a great opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our WPS team based in our Finsbury Park office, where you will be providing administrative support to managers and employees within our Wates Property Services Business.

The HR Administrator’s role is to support the end to end employee life cycle in an efficient and customer focused manner through effective administration and assistance on all employee related HR transactional processes, ensuring data integrity and input of employee information into the our HR database.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high volume queries/tasks from employees, external organisations and former employees received via our case management system through to resolution within agreed service level agreement timescales
- Fulfilling the onboarding process from offer stage through to the first day of employment, including contract creation, compliance checks, and first day check-ins
- Process changes to employees’ terms and conditions including, change of job title, hours, salary, promotions, bonuses etc, ensuring the required approvals are obtained, the Payroll Team are notified, and contractual changes are confirmed to the employee in writing
- To ensure leaver administration is actioned accurately and in a timely manner, to provide employees with experience a smooth and problem free exit from the business
- Maintain the HR database and investigate and resolve discrepancies with personal and contractual l data
- Maintain process trackers to ensure an up-to-date record of transactions is kept
- To ensure compliance with HR Policies and Procedures, HR governance, and relevant service level agreements
- To provide guidance to Line Managers and employees on Wates’ policies and procedures / best practice, referring more complex enquiries to a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner
- Conducting diarised and ad-hoc audits to ensure data accuracy is maintained
- To respond to all external reference requests ensuring compliance with Data Protection legislation working alongside our external provider
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the HR Delivery Manager and Senior HR Operations Manager to support process efficiency
- Support ad-hoc and periodic tasks including pay review, bonus payments and audits
We are looking for you to already have administrative experience gained in a busy HR team and ideally qualified to CIPD Level 3. Alongside this you will have excellent written and oral communication skills; able to communicate with people at all levels and be highly motivated with an attention to detail.
Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage.
