Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Administrator in Crewe for an initial 3-month temporary contract. The role supports the People team with end-to-end HR administration and data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include onboarding/offboarding, records maintenance, recruitment admin, payroll support, and GDPR-compliant data handling. Hybrid working options and weekly pay through Hays are available.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an HR Administration role.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using HR systems would be advantageous.
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards a qualification would be beneficial.

  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing contracts and employment documentation.
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring HR systems are accurately updated.
  • Coordinating recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and pre-employment checks.
  • Managing HR inbox queries and acting as a first point of contact for employees and managers.
  • Supporting payroll administration through the accurate processing of employee changes.
  • Maintaining compliance records, right-to-work documentation, and training records.
  • Assisting with sickness absence administration and employee relations documentation.
  • Producing HR reports and supporting HR projects as required.
  • Ensuring confidential employee information is handled in line with GDPR requirements.
