About the Volunteer Opportunity

Are you passionate about creating a welcoming experience for new team members? Do you enjoy coordinating details, organizing information, and supporting volunteers? Join us as a Volunteer HR Admin to play a key role in onboarding, offboarding, and supporting volunteers throughout their journey at SkilledUp Life.

Duration
  • 3 months (60 volunteer days)
  • At least 3 hours per day
  • Part-time
  • Remote
Volunteer Activities

Your role includes:

  • Coordinate with the CEO to set up email accounts, Google Workspace, and email groups for new volunteers.
  • Send welcome emails with credentials, the Volunteer Handbook, and key resources.
  • Schedule and conduct onboarding sessions.
  • Organize transition interviews for volunteers.
  • Manage offboarding surveys and exit interviews.
  • Maintain accurate Volunteer Agreements and ensure compliance.
  • Clear backlogs and prevent new ones from forming.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and Trello (or willingness to learn).
  • Supportive attitude towards team culture and volunteer milestones.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Background in Human Resources or related field (preferred, but experience also valued).
