HR Admin - Croydon, London


Join Our Team as an HR Administrator!


Are you passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring smooth HR operations? We are looking for a dedicated HR Administrator to join our vibrant team in Croydon, London. Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional service and creating a supportive environment for their staff.



Location: Croydon, London


Contract Type: Temporary for a minimum of 3 months


Commute: Just a 4-minute walk from East Croydon train station and a quick 3-minute stroll from the East Croydon tram station!


Purpose of Role: The HR Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions, ensuring our values of fairness, accountability, collaboration, transparency, and open-mindedness are upheld throughout the organisation.


Key Accountabilities:



  • Assist in recruitment processes, from job postings to onboarding new employees.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

  • Support payroll and benefits administration.

  • Collaborate with team members to enhance HR policies and procedures.

  • Provide administrative support for training and development initiatives.

  • Facilitate employee communications and engagement activities.



Knowledge & Skills Required:



  • Strong understanding of HR practises and principles.

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.



Experience:



  • Previous experience in an HR administrative role is preferred but not essential.

  • Familiarity with employment legislation and best practises is a plus.
