Job summary

Mistral is seeking a Technical Project Lead for its HPC team, based in Paris or London with frequent travel to Paris. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of high‑performance computing projects, ensuring timely deployment and production readiness.

You will negotiate with data centers, manage resources and budgets, and coordinate across engineering, operations, and product teams to meet strategic goals. Ideal candidates have a technical degree and a proven track record in large infrastructure

Qualifications

• Technical degree in computer science, general engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in large infrastructure project management, preferably in HPC or related fields.
• Deep program management experience with a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor and partner engagements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of Mistral’s HPC clusters, from hardware deployment to production readiness.
• Strategically manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure on-time completion.
• Allocate resources and manage budgets to support project goals.
• Negotiate with data centers and infrastructure providers to secure necessary agreements.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align technical and operational objectives.
• Communicate project progress and strategic direction to stakeholders.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to project standards.
