Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an enthusiastic HPC & AI Presales Consultant to join our growing technical sales team in the UK. This role offers a hybrid work pattern, averaging two days per week in an HPE office, and the chance to work closely with customers, sales colleagues, and technology partners.

You will design innovative solutions, deliver demonstrations and POCs, and translate complex requirements into compelling technical proposals while staying ahead of HPC and AI trends.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Interest in HPC, AI, cloud computing, infrastructure, or data centre technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support development of technical solutions and customer proposals for HPC and AI opportunities.
• Work alongside sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Assist in designing solution architectures that meet customer performance, budget, and business objectives.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, POCs, and solution walkthroughs.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings within the HPC and AI landscape.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Help identify new opportunities within existing customer accounts and contribute to pipeline growth.
• Support the sales process through technical validation, solution positioning, and opportunity management.
• Participate in forecast and pipeline reviews.
• Document activities and share best practices with colleagues and partners.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer environments and how our solutions can deliver business value.
• Collaborate with technical specialists, partners, and delivery teams to ensure successful knowledge transfer and customer outcomes.
