Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP in the United Kingdom is seeking an HPC & AI Presales Consultant to join our growing technical sales team. This hybrid role requires collaboration with customers, sales and technology partners to design innovative HPC/AI solutions and demonstrate business value.

You will deliver product demonstrations, run proofs-of-concept, and help translate requirements into architecture that meets performance and budget goals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic HPC & AI Presales Consultant to join our growing technical sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop expertise in cutting‑edge technologies while working closely with customers, sales teams, and technology partners.

As a Presales Consultant, you will support customers throughout their technology buying journey, helping to design innovative solutions, demonstrate business value, and align technical capabilities with customer outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the development of technical solutions and customer proposals for HPC and AI opportunities.
• Work alongside sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Assist in designing solution architectures that meet customer performance, budget, and business objectives.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), and solution walkthroughs.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings within the HPC and AI landscape.
• Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Help identify new opportunities within existing customer accounts and contribute to pipeline growth.
• Support the sales process through technical validation, solution positioning, and opportunity management.
• Participate in forecast and pipeline reviews.
• Document activities and share best practices with colleagues and partners.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer environments and how our solutions can deliver business value.
• Collaborate with technical specialists, partners, and delivery teams to ensure successful knowledge transfer and customer outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Essential Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Interest in HPC, AI, cloud computing, infrastructure, or data centre technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Preferred Relevant technical certifications.
• Experience with solution design, architecture, or technical consulting activities.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, data analytics, or High Performance Computing environments.
• Experience delivering technical demonstrations, workshops, or proof‑of‑concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, infrastructure solutions, storage, networking, or compute technologies.
• Understanding of consultative selling and customer engagement methodologies.
