RGB in Truro is seeking a Housing Worker to assist young people aged 16–25 in supported accommodation. The role is based in the city centre, with on-site work on Saturdays and Sundays, 14.8 hours weekly, on a 12-week temporary contract that may become permanent.

Salary is £15.34 per hour, rising to £17.19 with holiday pay. You will help residents develop essential life skills, promote independence, and maintain a safe environment while engaging face-to-face with vulnerable individuals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or in supported housing is desirable.
• Understanding of homelessness, mental health and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
