Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Truro is seeking a Housing Worker for weekend work to support young people aged 16-25 in supported accommodation. The role is a 12-week temporary contract with a potential for permanency, offering weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays in Truro city centre.

You will provide practical housing support, promote independent living skills, build positive relationships, support wellbeing and maintain safeguarding and records. DBS enhanced can be arranged.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or in supported housing is desirable.
• Understanding of homelessness, mental health and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Housing Worker - Truro Pay: £15.34 per hour (£17.19 including holiday pay) Hours: 14.8 hours per week - Saturdays and Sundays Contract: 12-week temporary contract, with potential for permanent

Make a Difference Every Weekend! We are looking for a compassionate, proactive and reliable Housing Worker to support young people in supported accommodation, helping them develop essential life skills and work towards independent living. You'll play an important role in supporting young people aged 16-25 within supported accommodation. Working face to face on Saturdays and Sundays based in Truro city centre.
