Job summary

Pertemps Tm is seeking a compassionate Housing Worker for Saturdays and Sundays in Truro. The role supports young people aged 16–25 in supported accommodation, helping develop life skills and move toward independent living. DBS check is enhanced, and pay is weekly with immediate start.

The position is a 12-week temporary contract with potential for permanency, offering practical housing support, safeguarding responsiveness, and accurate record-keeping in a city centre setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people or in supported housing is desirable.
• Understanding of homelessness, mental health and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Housing Worker – Truro

Pay: £15.34 per hour (£17.19 including holiday pay)
Hours: 14.8 hours per week – Saturdays and Sundays
Contract: 12-week temporary contract, with potential for permanent

Make a Difference Every Weekend! We are looking for a compassionate, proactive and reliable Housing Worker to support young people in supported accommodation, helping them develop essential life skills and work towards independent living. You’ll play an important role in supporting young people aged 16–25 within supported accommodation. Working face to face on Saturdays and Sundays based in Truro city centre.
