Job summary

Our client, a Nottingham-based Training Provider Organisation, seeks a CIH-qualified Housing Professional to join as Trainer/Assessor in a trainee role. You will train and assess Housing/Property management Apprenticeships, supporting learners and guiding them toward relevant qualifications.

The role may involve travel around Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties, and you will work towards the Assessor qualification while developing your career in the sector.

Qualifications

• Recent, up-to-date and relevant Housing sector experience.
• Willing to work towards TAQA assessor award or equivalent.
• A minimum of grade C Mathematics and English or Level 2 Functional Skills.
• A Minimum of a Level 3 Housing qualification (CIH or equivalent) – Level 4 or 5 would be preferred, but not essential.
• Driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Train and assess Apprenticeships in Housing/Property management sectors.
• Support learners throughout training, reviewing progress and attendance at off-the-job training.
• Meet needs of learners from diverse backgrounds to maximise potential and achieve required qualifications.
