Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an experienced Housing Team Leader for a busy temporary accommodation service in Birmingham. The role carries an initial 3-month contract with an immediate start and pays £25.00 per hour.

You will lead and support a team delivering high-quality housing management, ensuring properties and residents are well managed while upholding compliance and service standards. The position requires strong housing knowledge and leadership to handle complex cases.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housing team or temporary accommodation.
• Strong knowledge of housing management processes and legislation.
• Experience supervising or supporting a housing team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases.
• Experience in a local authority or social housing environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and manage a team of housing support officers.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of temporary accommodation.
• Ensure housing and tenancy related issues are dealt with promptly.
• Monitor team performance and service delivery
• Support staff with complex cases and resident issues.
• Monitor property standards, repairs and health & safety issues.
