Job summary

Refuge in Warwickshire is recruiting a Housing Support Worker to deliver practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children residing in dispersed refuge accommodation across Warwickshire.

You will contribute to the Warwickshire Dispersed Safe Accommodation service, collaborating with Floating Support Workers and Child Support Workers to meet a wide range of survivor needs, including health and safety, maintenance of units, and helping access housing benefits and

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in dispersed refuge accommodation across Warwickshire.
• Maintain Health and Safety of emergency safe accommodation units and manage cleaning/replacements between uses.
• Assist survivors with accessing housing benefit and exploring move-on accommodation.
• Ensure properties comply with Refuge accommodation standards and Health and Safety requirements.
