Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Housing Support Assistant at our Support Service at Phoenix House, Basildon.

The role of Housing Support Assistant will include:
• Supporting the Housing & Contract Manager to deliver an effective, enhanced housing management service to Sanctuary Supported Living customers
• Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels
• Supporting and promoting compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures and undertaking key compliance activities
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders
• Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment within our schemes
• Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems
• Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate
Skills and experiences:
• Previous experience delivering tenancy services
• Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
• NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area
• Ability to extract and interrogate data
• Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable
• Travel will be a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence and access to car is essential
