Sheffield City Council is recruiting three Housing Strategy and Policy Officers to join our Strategic Housing team, with two permanent posts and one fixed-term maternity cover. You will help shape housing strategy, policy and market analysis, providing research and advice to inform decisions and improve services.

Reporting to a Senior Housing Strategy and Policy Officer, you will lead work areas, produce clear reports and briefings for various audiences, and collaborate with colleagues, partners

Competenze

• Knowledge of housing policy, strategic housing issues and regulatory environment.
• Experience in policy, strategy, research, consultation or project work in housing or local government.
• Ability to gather and interpret complex information and turn findings into recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports, briefings and presentations.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
• Good organisation skills to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion informing policy and service improvement.
• A degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in housing policy or related discipline.
