LLOYD'S REGISTER INTERNATIONAL is recruiting a Housing Settlement Officer for the Glasgow Overnight Welcome Centre. You will support guests moving from temporary accommodation to settled tenancies and help turn a tenancy into a home, with a focus on sustainable outcomes.

The role requires flexibility, creativity and a solution‑oriented approach, with travel across Glasgow and one evening shift per week. PVG membership is required and applicants with lived homelessness experience are welcomed.

Are you passionate about helping people move beyond homelessness and towards a settled, sustainable home?

We’re seeking staff who are motivated to tackle the problem of homelessness, with the skills to create a welcoming environment for people with complex needs.

The Glasgow Overnight Welcome Centre anticipates receiving hundreds of guests seeking refuge and a warm, safe place to sleep. We’re looking for people with great interpersonal skills who can build healthy relationships with guests who are currently in temporary accommodation or coming through the Overnight Welcome Centre.

About the role

Helping a tenancy become a home

We are seeking to appoint a team of Housing Settlement Officers who will support guests accessing the Overnight Welcome Centre and help people move on from temporary accommodation.

You will support people as they settle into a new tenancy, helping them turn that tenancy into a home and improving the likelihood of long‑term tenancy sustainment.

The longer‑term aim is to help people end the cycle of homelessness and establish a more secure future.

The role requires the post-holder to be flexible, creative and solution-focused,with travel around Glasgow. It also includes one evening shift per week.
