Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Support Coordinator to join our Sheffield Accommodation team. You’ll support people to develop skills, confidence and stability to live independently and move towards sustainable accommodation, providing practical, person-centred housing and recovery support.

You’ll deliver group sessions on housing options, tenancy readiness and recovery-focused programmes, maintain accurate notes and work with professionals to achieve lasting outcomes in a compassionate, collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with housing, recovery or other complex needs, or relevant transferable experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, professional relationships.
• An understanding of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred support.
• Good organisation and record keeping skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently and progress towards sustainable accommodation.
• Develop and regularly review person-centred support and risk management plans.
• Deliver housing, tenancy readiness and recovery-focused group sessions.
• Maintain accurate case notes and records on relevant systems.
• Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding and risk concerns.
• Work closely with colleagues, external agencies and other professionals to provide joined-up support.
• Attend multi-agency meetings and undertake outreach where required.
