Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in London (Walthamstow) seeks a Project Officer-Housing on a 3 months contract with a Local Authority. You will provide specialist project support for Renters’ Rights Act implementation, ensuring compliance and stakeholder engagement.

The role involves research, data analysis, reporting, and assisting in housing initiatives, with 22 hours per week in a hybrid arrangement across housing services.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or public sector projects.
• Understanding of the Renters’ Rights Act and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
• Experience working with residents and diverse communities.
• Experience with data collection and reporting.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in housing/public sector.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Renters’ Rights Act projects within timescales, budgets and quality standards.
• Assist project directors and managers with documentation and reporting.
• Engage with residents and partners to support outcomes and service improvements.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and project governance requirements.
• Attend meetings and contribute to service plans and stakeholder forums.
