Job summary

• Experience in a Local Housing Authority or similar
• Strong understanding of housing legislation and case law
• Proven ability to lead a busy Housing Options team

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housing Options team of eight officers and report to the Strategic Housing Manager
• Ensure applications are taken, investigated and determined under the Housing Act 1996 and related legislation
• Assess complex cases and liaise with the Independent Review Service and Legal Services
