Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Housing Officer for Temporary Accommodation, based at the North East Locality Office. Salary £34,452 - £40,501, 36 hours per week.

You will provide housing management, information, assessment and advice to tenants, homeless people and other customers, coordinating housing and support services to ensure effective delivery. The role requires working to current legislation and best practice, collaborating with statutory services and partner organisations,

Qualifications

• Provide housing management services, information, assessment and advice to tenants, homeless people and other customers.
• Coordinate other housing and support services to assist customers and ensure the effective delivery of housing services and services for homeless people.
• Work to legislation and best practice requirements and in collaboration with other statutory services and partner organisations.
• Display resilience and take ownership of applicable tasks, keeping up to date with current legislation and changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver housing management services to tenants, homeless people and customers.
• Coordinate housing and support services to assist customers and ensure service delivery to homeless people.
• Ensure compliance with current housing legislation and guidance by working with statutory partners.
• Put customers first and respond to their needs with respect and professionalism.
