Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Housing Officer for the Temporary Accommodation Service in the North East Locality Office. The role delivers housing management, information, assessment and advice to tenants, homeless people and other customers, coordinating housing and support services to ensure effective delivery.

You will work to current legislation, with PVG Scheme requirements for regulated work with children and/or protected adults, and you will engage with partner organisations

Qualifications

• Experience delivering housing management services to diverse clients.
• Knowledge of housing options for homeless people and those at risk of homelessness.
• Ability to coordinate with statutory services and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and commission housing and support services to ensure effective service delivery for housing and homelessness.
