Job summary

The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations is seeking a Housing Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have a housing-related qualification equivalent to at least CIH Level 4 or relevant experience and should hold membership in a professional housing body.

We are currently looking for a Housing Officer to join our Housing Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a busy workload across a wide range of housing services
  • Identifying support requirements and providing a referral and advice service
  • Conducting pre-let interviews, accompanied viewings and sign-ups
  • Working alongside other colleagues to support income management processes
  • Working to set standards, frameworks, performance measures and protocols
  • Establishing effective external working relationships with partners and external stakeholders
Qualifications and experience
  • A housing-related qualification (equivalent to at least CIH Level 4) or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Member of a professional housing body
  • Knowledge and experience of the following:
  • Managing a busy workload across a wide range of housing services
  • Identifying support requirements and providing a referral and advice service
  • Conducting pre-let interviews, accompanied viewings and sign-ups
