Job summary

VennGroup is recruiting an Housing Officer for City Development, Housing & Supporting People, Landlord Services. The role centers on building proactive relationships with tenants and other customers while delivering robust housing management for council tenants and residents in temporary accommodation.

You will inspect properties, respond to issues, and coordinate temporary accommodation within the council's Social Lettings Agency.

Responsibilities

• Build a pro-active relationship with tenants and other customers.
• Deliver a high-performing housing management service to council tenants and residents in temporary accommodation, including tackling anti-social behaviour.
• Understand and meet legitimate customer demand within agreed budgets.
• Coordinate the use and management of temporary accommodation and properties under the council's Social Lettings Agency.
• Inspect all council properties and neighbourhoods in a defined area on a regular basis to understand customers and assets and act on issues.
• Support the work of the Service Lead.

LIAISON WITH : Council tenants, Leaseholders and the general public,

External agencies in the public, private and voluntary sector

including housing associations, social services and police,

Property owners and landlords, Managers and staff

throughout Housing and the Council Elected Members

MAIN PURPOSE
