Housing Manager Barnet and North London
Fixed Term contract (12 months), full time (37.5 hpw), office based and working in the community
Salary circa £34,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications plus great benefits including Health Cash Plan

About the role

This is a great job opportunity for a Housing Manager to join Home Group's housing team in Barnet and North London. As our Housing Manager, you’ll provide face-to-face customer support to our communities. This role is ideal if you enjoy variety and delivering excellent services.

Typical duties

1. Engage with customers and communities through visibility and proactivity on estates.
2. Manage multiple patches and neighborhoods, supported by Community Housing Assistants.
3. Address anti-social behaviors, respond to queries and complaints.
4. Manage the voids process, liaising with local authorities.
5. Conduct estate inspections, engage with contractors, and perform safety and compliance checks.

About you

• Experience in housing management, understanding housing law and universal credit is desirable.
• Organized, proactive, with a positive attitude.
• Passionate about customer service and helping others.
• Resilient when handling complaints.
• Confident working with external partners like local authorities and MPs.
• Team player who is comfortable working mainly in local estates.
