Job Description - Housing Manager (25789)

Join us as a Housing Manager at Home Group, based in Oxfordshire with a hybrid working model. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with a salary ranging from £32,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Benefits include a Health Cash Plan.

Role Overview

You will be the face-to-face support for our estates, ensuring safe and thriving communities. Your responsibilities include engaging with residents, managing anti-social behaviour, overseeing void processes, and conducting estate inspections. You'll work closely with community housing assistants and external partners to improve local neighborhoods.

About You
  • Experience in housing management, understanding of housing law, and possibly familiarity with universal credit.
  • Willingness to work towards Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3 qualification.
  • Organized, proactive, and customer-focused with resilience to handle challenging situations.
  • Confident in liaising with external stakeholders such as local authorities and MPs.

Job Details
  • Hybrid role: approximately 3 days in Oxford communities and 2 days remote weekly.
  • Regular team meetings via Teams and quarterly face-to-face gatherings.
  • Flexible working hours, with occasional evening meetings.
  • Must have a vehicle insured for business use; mileage paid.
  • Standard DBS check required, paid for by us.
