Job description

Housing Manager (Supported Living) - £50,000 to £55,000 per year

Location: Birmingham

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Housing Manager. You will be working within supported living and have a passion for making a difference to residents. Please click apply if you would like to be considered for this excellent opportunity.

• Ensure all requirements related to CQC are adhered to and met.
• Monitor the service to ensure it meets the quality targets of the company, contractual requirements of commissioners, NHS, CQC, and external bodies.
• Oversee and manage issues regarding legislative requirements concerning the services provided and staff.
• Implement monitoring and quality control processes under the company’s Quality Monitoring Policy.
• Conduct surveys, monitor staff performance, and supervise staff in quality control assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of support workers and service users, including details of new service users and support workers, in accordance with company policy and GDPR regulations.
• Lead visits and assessments from CQC and external bodies.
• Undertake or oversee risk assessments in service user accommodation.
• Develop and write up service user care plans.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• NVQ 5 (Leadership & Management) or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years at line management level in a similar role or a professional qualification with 2 years’ relevant care setting experience
• Full driving license
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Team leading and housing specialist skills
