Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a Housing Litigation Solicitor to lead homelessness and housing matters, with a focus on homelessness, allocations, appeals and judicial review.

You will provide clear, practical legal advice, manage a busy caseload, draft proceedings, and work with officers across the Council to deliver lawful, robust decisions that support residents in need and protect vital services.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEx fellow in England and Wales.
• Strong knowledge of homelessness and housing law.
• Experience with homelessness appeals, allocations and judicial review.

Responsabilités

• Advise on Housing Act duties and homelessness procedures.
• Draft and defend proceedings and advise officers.
• Support policy development and provide practical legal advice.
• Appear as advocate where needed.
